A new canvas.... a girl!

OMG....I finally did it.........I created a girl on a canvas a la Christy style!!!!!! I got really nervous when I painted her hair, but I think it turned out OK! I used various stencils and rub-ons to create this canvas. Hope you like it!!!!! Would love to hear your comments! Thank you, Kelly, for your input.

Magnolia and Mixed-Media Canvas

Good afternoon everyone! Well, I finally had a little inspiration so I worked on a birthday card for a friend showcasing the cute happy princess Tilda from the "Once Upon A Time" collection. She is colored with copics. All embellishments are from my stash. The inside of the card features two Magnolia tags and the papers are from the MF C'est La Vie Collection, a gift from my dear friend.

This canvas is my continuing journey into mixed media art. Please keep in mind that this is a learning process for me and I have a lot to learn!!!! Definitely not feeling secure in this new endeavor yet!

Thank you so much for your visit and I am especially thankful for your comments. Big Hugs to all!

Little Cute Tilda

Good afternoon.....hope your day is going well! I had a little time to craft this morning and I decided to color the little cute Tilda from the Once Upon a Time Collection. She is colored with copics, inspired by my talented friend Brigitte. I used the same copics, except for one, which I did not have. Thank you, Brigitte, for always inspiring me. The papers are from my stash and the lovely lace is from my friend, Claudi. Thanks, Sweetie! The banners were a gift from the wonderfully talented Sharon. Thank you so much!

Happy Princess Tilda

Good afternoon everyone.....hope your week is going well! Had a little time today to work on a new card featuring my favorite image from the current "Once Upon A Time" collection. She is colored with copics and showcased on lovely Maja paper and lace from my stash. The lovely wildflower paper behind the image is also from my stash. I did some frantage embossing around the oval edge.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and leave a comment. I love reading them and I truly appreciate them. Big Hugs, Christina

Tilda Longstocking

Good afternoon to all my awesome blogging friends! My embossing enamel arrived in the mail today, so I could not wait to try the frantage technique. I used shabby pink and added some glass glitter.....love that stuff!!!!! I'm showcasing Tilda Longstocking from the new Once Upon a Time collection. She is colored with copics, as well as the Magnolia background, from an older collection. My new Magnolia dies also arrived today and you can see two of them on the card....the feathers and the lovely lace border. The small feather almost looks black on the picture, but it is actually a darker purple..same as the lace border. On the top left of the card is a Joy Crafts die. Papers are from Maja Design Spring Vintage Basics.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I appreciate your visit and comments. Big Hugs, Christina
