Goosebump Tilda Wishes You a Happy Birthday

Good afternoon everyone........I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful day! I made this birthday card for a very special person who happens to love geese and had several as pets! Goosebump Tilda from the Turning Leaves collection was the perfect choice. She is colored with copics and showcased on papers from Maja Design's Vintage Summer collection. I inserted a Magnolia heart tag on the top right. The oval floral die is from Spellbinders. The lovely doily in the background was a gift from a very dear friend.

The inside of the card features an Alota stamp on the jotting panel and a scalloped tag from Magnolia. I wanted a pocket on the inside of the card for lottery tickets.

I am entering this card in TILDA'S TOWN for the "Anything Goes" challenge and also in the JUST MAGNOLIA challenge which calls for a heart.

Welcome, Baby!!!

Good morning and a very happy weekend to everyone!!! Just a quick post to share a rare event....made a baby card!!!! I have to admit this baby Edwin is so darn cute...so glad the opportunity presented itself for me to use this stamp! The dp is from Best Creations, purchased several years ago. The image is colored with copics. This little cutie is from the Princes and Princesses Collection. I forgot to take a picture of the back of the card, but the baby's name is on the back.

Cozy Christmas Bear

Good afternoon....hope you are all having a wonderful day!! I worked on another Christmas card because I just can't resist those adorable stamps from the Little Christmas collection. I know we are seeing lots of Christmas cards lately, probably because they are coming out with the Christmas collections very early this year. As for me, I love seeing Christmas cards anytime of the year. This adorable image is colored with copics and featured on papers from the BG Nordic Holiday collection. I placed silver wire edged ribbon around the image.

Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I sincerely appreciate your comments and thank you for taking the time to visit. Hugs, Christina

Tilda in Concert

Yup.....one more!!!!!! This time I'm featuring the lovely Tilda with violin from the 2010 Christmas Collection. I'm so enjoying making these chocolate gift cards. I plan on making lots of them for gift giving, but I won't bore you with any more for a while! The beautiful papers are from Inkido, purchased several years ago. Tilda is colored with copics.

The inside features more of those lovely papers, the yummy chocolate and the pink ribbon along the narrow border has beautiful crystals beads along one side of the ribbon. Too bad it did not photograph very well because it is stunning.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It is truly appreciated. Love and hugs, Christina

Christmas Tilda with Cat

Good afternoon everyone! Today, I'd like to show you the card I re-worked to accommodate my favorite Lindt chocolate bar. You really don't need a tutorial for this....all you have to do is work around the size of the chocolate bar. I colored this adorable image with copics. This image is from the recently released Little Christmas Collection. The papers are from my stash and I used my MS Christmas lights punch for the inside and outside edge.

The inside of the card is so simple and such a nice gift idea for the holidays or for a birthday.

Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. I appreciate it so much! Hugs, Christina

Tilda's Gift

Good morning to all my lovely blogging friends and visitors! It's a rainy day in Wisconsin, but I'm not complaining...we really need the rain!

Today, I'd like to share another vintage gift idea which I will also be entering in Tilda's Town. I found this tutorial on Marianne's blog. She is an amazing artist I have been following for a couple of years. Her work is truly spectacular and very inspirational.

The inside of this card has a place for a chocolate bar. I was going to place a Tobler bar on the inside, but, alas, it did not fit! Perhaps the smaller Dove bar will be just right....will have to see!!!! I used the lovely Pion Papers for this project and Miss Tilda is colored with copics.

Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I appreciate it very much. Hugs, Christina

August Entries for Hjertebodens

Greetings to everyone.....hope you are having a fabulous day! I'd like to share my three Christmas entries for Hjertebodens Jule Blogg. The challenge this month is to create a vintage bottle topper/tag. I decided to feature the lovely Tilda Dancing with Stars (thank you, dear friend, for the stamped image!) from the new Little Christmas Collection. Isn't she darling??? I just looooove her! I am featuring her on Pion Design papers. I am also entering this in TILDA's TOWN Challenge #12 which also calls for vintage.

My next card is also a vintage creation, featuring a lovely Pion Design vintage santa and papers from Maja Design Vintage Winter collection.

My final card features Saturated Canary's Trimming the Tree. I am such a huge fan of Krista's artistry. Her work is AMAZING. This darling image is colored with copics and showcased on Maja Design papers.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my humble blog. I know it is time consuming and I especially appreciate your taking a couple of minutes of your precious time to leave a comment. Love you!

Tilda with Corn

Good morning to all my lovely blogging friends....wishing you all a fabulous day! Today, I'd like to share a card I made using the masking technique. I will be entering this card in the Tilda's Town challenge which calls for "Name your Technique" this week. This, of course, is the lovely Tilda with Corn from the current Turning Leaves Collection. She is colored with copics, as well as the Northwoods background stamp. Flowers are from WOC and the papers are from Magnolia and Inkido.

Thank you for your lovely comments and your continued support. Big Hugs, Christina
