Inventory Challenge #42

Good morning everyone....wishing you all a fabulous Friday! Danielle and I welcome you to our weekly challenge. This week, our theme is "Something Old, Something New".
I must have misunderstood, because after checking Danielle's site, I noticed the challenge as "blue" not "new". No matter, my card fits regardless.
I am featuring Tilda with Hawaii Flower from the 2011 Butterfly Dreams Collection. I colored her with copics. For the cheeks and hair, I used chalks.
Something "old" is the beautiful lace, at least 40 years old....was once in my mother's sewing basket.
Something "new" is the beautiful Pion Design paper. Something "blue" is the paper and, of course, Tilda's dress.
The lovely metal corner was a gift from my sweet friend, Claudia.
The beautiful flowers were a gift from another sweet friend, Jacque.
I am also entering this card in SKETCH SATURDAY, utilizing their wonderful sketch for Week #165.

Now, I would like to invite you to visit my friends and teammates, DANIELLE, RENE, CATHY-LYNN AND SANDY and view their fabulous creations. Welcome back, sweet Sandy!!!
We are thrilled to have you back and treating us to your wonderful designs.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Your comments make my day!

The theme for next week will be: "Swirls and Curves"

Miss Tilda

Good afternoon to all my blogging friends....hope you are having a fabulous day!
I had a little time to play today, so I made a card with this adorable Tilda....I don't know what she is called or which collection she graces. I showcased her on Pion Design papers and colored her with copics...going for a very soft look. I have started to use chalk for the blush on her cheeks because it's a softer look.
The lovely metal corner and leaves were a gift from my sweet friend, Claudia.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Big Hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #41

Good morning everyone. Danielle and I welcome you once again to our Inventory Challenge. This week's theme is "vintage Christmas". I created a very simple card...I still had one sheet of lovely Pion Design paper with this wonderful Santa image. I simply cut it out with a scalloped Nestie and added gold Stickles. The background sheet is from BG's Jovial Collection. The lovely lace/ribbon is from my stash and the wonderful brads were a gift from my friend, Danielle. Aren't they gorgeous??
I would love to invite you to visit my other teammates, DANIELLE, RENE, and CATHY-LYNN and admire their fabulous works of art.

Next week's theme will be "something old, something new".

Thank you so much for visiting and my heartfelt thanks for all your comments on my last posting. Hugs, Christina

Summer Scene

Good afternoon to all my fabulous blogging friends....hope you are having a marvelous day! We are under a heat advisory until Thursday night.....Ughhhhh!!! I'm staying indoors this week and venturing out only if absolutely necessary!!!!

Once again, I am combining my Stampscapes with Tilda....would love to know what you think of this new card!!!!
I think I will enter this in the Magnolia-licious Highlites challenge. They have a choice of themes and I think "beach bash" is suitable for this card.
This adorable Tilda is "Barefoot Tilda" from the 2008 Summer&Sea Collection.
She is colored with copics.

Thank you for visiting my blog....I appreciate your comments!

Inventory Challenge #40

Good morning everyone....wishing you all a very happy Friday! Wow....this has been a hectic week...no time for crafting other than this card.
Danielle and I welcome you to our Inventory Challenge, this week's theme is "bling and sparkles". The coloring of this beautiful Sweet Pea image was totally inspired by one of the talented designers.....wish I could give her credit, but I don't remember. It's important to write this down immediately, as I can't depend on my memory...LOL!!!! The papers used are BG Stella Rose. The lovely lace was a gift from my sweet friend, Claudia. I also used heart nesties and the Magnolia heart border die. The rest of the embellishments are from my stash.
I would love to invite you to visit my other friends and teammates, DANIELLE, RENE and CATHY-LYNN and view their magnificent works of art.
Next week's theme will be "Vintage Christmas".
Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I appreciate all of you! Hugs, Christina

Good afternoon everyone! It's a beautiful day in Wisconsin...unfortunately, I have not had a chance yet to enjoy it!
I'd like to share three Christmas cards I made for entry in the July Hjertebodens Yule Blog.

The card featuring Tilda with ice skates is a special edition stamp. All the papers were designed by the incredibly talented Kristine Moldenhauer Biseth.
Tilda was colored with copics.
My tri-shutter card features papers by BoBunny from the "Midnight Frost" collection.
Both Tildas are from the 2010 Christmas collection. The lovely corners were a gift from my dear friend Claudia.

Last, but not least is a vintage card.
