Rose Garden Tilda

Hello to all my lovely blogging friends! I managed to make a card featuring the lovely Rose Garden Tilda, from the current Summer Memories Collection. Working five days a week does not leave me much time for crafting and when I spend time in the craft room, I feel guilty because my elderly mother feels ignored. She is very depressed lately and refuses to see a doctor. She does not have much mobility and I can certainly understand that this is a very difficult situation for her! Back to my card......Tilda is colored with copics and featured on my favorite papers, Maja Design Summer Vintage collection. The gorgeous lace was a gift from my dear friend, Danielle. The flowers are from my stash. Thank you for your continued visits and support....you make it all worthwhile. Thank you so much. Hugs, Christina

Good Morning everyone! I'd like to share a card I made for the DEEP OCEAN CHALLENGE No. 26, requiring swirls. I am featuring Tilda with Winding Flowers from the new Summer Memories Collection. She is colored with copics and showcased on lovely Magnolia paper, also from the new collection and a Nellie Snellen die. The lovely trim red was a gift from a dear friend. Good morning and a very happy Friday to everyone! Danielle and I, along with our talented teammates, invite you to our Inventory Challenge. Today's theme is to make a card with a sentiment as the focal point, no image! I totally forgot to take a picture of the inside of the card prior to mailing it. The beautiful heart is a Sissix die and the papers are from Prima's Fairy Flora collection. Now, I would love to invite you to visit my talented teammates and view their works of art: DANIELLE, CATHY-LYNN, RENE, SYLVIA, NADINE, KATHY and ELLE. May Entries for Hjertebodens Yule Blogg

Good morning everyone! Since I have no idea in what order my cards will show up on my blog....Blogger does what it wants to and it's never the way I hope it will be...I will describe my entries for the May Hjerbebodens Yule Blogg in general terms! The challenge this month was to make a "goody bag". The cute Angel Tilda (don't know her name...sorry) I colored on my goody bag is from the 2010 Christmas Collection and I featured her on papers from BG's Nordic Holiday Collection. I added sleigh bells because I thought it would make a cute addition! This assignment took me out of my comfort zone, I tell ya! I made another card featuring Tilda with Fir and I used my favorite pastel Christmas papers designed by Kristine Moldenhauer Biseth. Love those papers!!!! The background trees is one of my Stampscapes. The final card was totally inspired by my sweet friend, Sandy. It is a paper bag card....something I have been wanting to try for a long time. I will be making more of those.....love them, Sandy!!!!! Thanks for the inspiration! The inside of the card features a couple of Magnolia tags and the papers are once again designed by Kristine. Santa's Helper Tilda is from the 2009 Christmas Collection, as well as the packages she is resting on. I paper-pieced this adorable Tilda. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I truly appreciate it.

Hooked Tilda

Let me tell you, it is unprecedented for me to post twice in one day......but, I just had to color this adorable Tilda from the new Summer Memories Collection. It is a very simple, one-layer card because I simply could not cover up more than absolutely necessary of this beautiful Magnolia paper! Tilda is colored with copics and masked so she sits on the Magnolia boat, also from the new collection. The fish is one of my Stampscapes stamps, which I thought would work perfectly with the scene. This Tilda reminds me so much of my daughter, a total outdoors person and avid fisherman! I have decided to enter this card in a new challenge blog "Tilda's Town" where Anything Goes.....love those kind of challenges! I am also entering it in Deep Ocean Challenge with the theme "What a Wonderful Woman"! Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments mean so much to me! Hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #82

Good morning to all my lovely blogging friends! It's time for another Inventory Challenge and this week's theme is "paper piecing". Danielle will not be joining us this week, but she will be back next week. Today, I am featuring a Tilda from the Animal/Pet Collection. As you can see, I paper pieced the dress, part of the bow and even the shoes and socks. I wanted to use black Mirro paper for the shoes, but cutting out the shoes was wayyyyyy too detailed....I gave up! The papers are a mix of Pion Design and Prima. The bird cage is a Tim Holtz die. Now I would love to invite you to visit my fabulous teammates and friends and view their amazing creations: CATHY-LYNN, RENE, KATHY, SYLVIA, NADINE and ELLE. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment. It is truly appreciated. Hugs, Christina
