Colors of Spring

Good day everyone....hope you're having a great Super Bowl Day!!! Since I'm from Wisconsin, I have to cheer for the Packers!!!!
In all honesty, I really don't know anything about football, so I hope whoever you cheer for, will be the winning team!!!!
I made another tag card (can you tell I love to make those cards?????) and I'm entering it in the LOVELY HAENGLAR ONLY challenge which calls for "spring colors". I have to thank my wonderful friend CLAUDIA for inspiring me to make this type of card.
I immediately thought of the gorgeous papers I received from my sweet friend, JACQUE, a couple of years ago. I've been saving it because it is no longer available. I just love this paper!!! Thank you so much, Jacque!
I colored the image with distress inks (still learning....I have a longgggg way to go before I'm happy with the results). I really do enjoy this new coloring medium and it has defnitely taken me out of my comfort zone. The lovely yellow blossom was also a gift from Jacque.
Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. Love you all!!!!

  4. Christina...I think you're doing a Fab job of coloring with the distress inks. What kind of paper did you use for your image? The DP is awesome as is the tag card. I will have to try and make one of these.

You brought her to life, and enhanced the scene so wonderfully. The inside is just as precious. The little heart expresses so much tenderness, along with the patterned paper. Your embellishments are perfectly chose to create a magical harmony. BRAVO! my friend. a true piece of art and heart.

  6. Hi Christina, Your tag card is so cute inside and out!! Your coloring is wonderful!! I love how you colored Tilda's face!! The DP's that you used are so darling!! I can see why you were saving them!! I'm the same way...I have a stash that I'm saving too!! My husband is orginally from Madison, Wisconsin, so he is for the Green Bay Packer too!! I really don't know football either. It just fun to see my hubby excited about the game and I'm happy that it's the last game of the season!! LOL!!

  15. Christina, Gorgeous card! I've tried to purchase Hanglar stamps through ebay.uk and can't seem to acquire any. They sell for so much money and we can't buy them here in the US. Beautiful card!
