I've been working diligently on my Christmas cards for the month of July for Hjertebodens Jule Blog
I am featuring a lovely Haenglar girl on papers from BG's Nordic Holiday Collection.
This cutie is colored with copics.
The requirement this month is to create a shaker card, so I am also featuring a Haenglar on my shaker card. I haven't made a shaker card in years and, unfortunately, I used too many microbeads for the filler, covering up too much of the image! This sweet Haenglar is also colored with copics and showcased on Maja Design "Vintage Winter" papers.
My final card is a gatefold card inspired by the incredibly talented NORMA. All the Magnolia images are from the 2008 Christmas Collection and featured on fabulous papers from Maja Design called "Vintage Winter". The window is a Small Poppystamps
Madison Window die. I really goofed up on this card....I bet that never happened to Norma!!!! LOL!!!! When I placed the Santa in front of the window with mounting tape, I forgot that the tape will show on the inside of the window as I open the panel. Well, I tried to fix it with greenery to cover up the mistake. It's not a great fix, but it will have to do.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your support is greatly appreciated. Wishing you a happy and productive week!!! So glad I still have my Internet!!! Big Hugs, Christina

OMG! Wowzers, all wowzers! I love all your cards Crissy, they are just WONDERFUL. Most of all this very last one, I love scenes, and it is so perfect, with windows, and santa, and Tilda decorating the tree, she is among my favourites. Your shaker card is awesome, lovely shades of blue, wonderful paper, and this cute hAnglar is wonderfully colored, as all your tildas. Wow. love the shading in the reds, and pink beautifully done. My dear friend, you did wonders for those 3 cards. I love them all. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! I love your coloring! : )

I think all three cards are grand. I love the colors of the first card. Not only do I love the blues of the second card, I love your design work. The third card is just as cute s it can be. You seldom goof! That is what helps keep us on our toes! Well I have gone back and looked at all 3 cards again and my very favorite? The very first one - those colors are gorgeous along with a beautiful bow with what looks like is an antique pin. Love your papers too.

Good grief, could you put me any more to shame? I haven't done a single Christmas card! I may have to resort to store-bought this year! Lol! These are gorgeous...I especially love the last one! The trifold reveals a lovely Christmas story (although I really think that other Tilda should stop sitting around and help decorate the tree, lol!)! Fabulous!
