Good morning and a very happy day to everyone! I've been seeing so many lovely Christmas cards on all the blogs that I decided to make another one, using some of the new dies by Memory Box and Joy Crafts. The adorable image is by Bildmalarna called "Chrismas Letters". The papers are from my stash. The snowflake border is by Tim Holtz.
As you can see, I used the new Pop-Up die by Joy Crafts on the inside of my card. I was hoping I could find a video on how to use to die, but was unsuccessful in my search. I know I did not use it correctly and if anyone out there can assist me, I would be very grateful. I does not POP when I open my card. This was not easy to do. I first cut out the cardstock and then I cut out the pattern from my designer paper. Then, I had to glue it together...........not easy! I was thinking there has to be an easier way to do this!

Both cards are very lovely Christina, I just love the star die cut on the first card, very delicate! and the lovely trees on your second card, love this scene you have created with them. It seems to be as warm all over, as it is in Montreal. Hugs.

Aw, isn't this pretty -- but looks like a lot of work and would try my patience, when crafting is supposed to help me "de-stress". You mastered it, though, Christina -- wonderful, wonderful creation, as always !!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading about your experience with the pop up die, I decided I did not need it after all. I really do love Bildmalarna images. Once again I see the pretty lace. The outside is so pretty and the inside is a wowzer. Who cares about popping up - the design is perfect!!
