Once Upon A Time and Journal Pages
A huge Hello to all my blogging friends! OMG......awakened this morning to over 2" of SNOW............and more on the way for tomorrow!!!!! I tell ya, winter is not willing to release its grip this year....! It's been a while since I made a card.....I have another addiction now.....mixed media art!!! LOL
This cutie is Tilda with Corkscrews and she is colored with copics. The castle in the background is a Great Impressions stamp. I sprayed the entire image with gold glitter spray. Papers are Magnolia.
I am continuing my journal pages and this time I utilized the lovely Tim Holtz stamps I received from a dear friend. I am really enjoying this journey into mixed media art. It's messy, but so much fun! Don't really know what I'm doing yet, but I'm definitely enjoying it!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support. I know it takes time to visit a blog and leave a comment, but I really do appreciate it so much. Big Hugs, Christina

SNOW?!-WOW... We have everything in bloom, and only thing that looks like snow is a cherry blossom petals flying in the wind.
ReplyDeleteI just read what you wrote in your profile:"
Stamping is my obsession and I am not looking for a cure." I like that VERY much :)
I like both works honey, they are different, and yet both have their own distinct personalities
Very beautiful card Christina. I love the theme and am jealous that Tilda gets to travel, she looks like she is traveling Europe. I am sorry for the snow though. We are getting as much rain as your are snow. The only good thing is, we don't have to shovel it but it is just as depressing :(
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing.
hugs and warm thoughts sent your way. Donna
EW!! SNOW?! We aren't getting that anymore but it's still a smidge chilly here. So glad it's spring....somewhere. LOL!! KA-UTE!! Love this card and I really like that you sprayed over all of it. I'm so scared to. LOL! Love the castle and like that you kept it black and white. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHello Christina, Icould not wait to see what you had created when you told me this morning! WOW WOW WOW. I do love your card, love your coloring of this cute Tilda so much, and the spray treatment brings such a beautiful detail to your image. Very pretty to have the castle just stamped in black, I love this very much. Wonderful details too. And.... your journey brought you to Paris la ville lumière, and I do love the bright colors you used, it certainly translates the fun and the happiness always associated with paris. and I can feel how much fun you had when doing this! Sending sun from Montreall... while we have it LOL Hugs.
