Good morning everyone. We have freezing rain and, alas, I cannot walk my dogs!!!
I just hope the situation improves, so I can take them for a walk later! Otherwise, it is dog chaos in my house.

THINK PINK

Good afternoon everyone...hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We are looking at four days of rain...great to stay inside and craft!
I made this card for two challenges....Friday Sketchers #125 following a fabulous sketch by the ueber-talented Jacque and Just Magnolia Week 78 "Think Pink".
I made this card with my dear friend Jacque in mind and my wonderful, brave niece Elona. My niece (a high school science teacher) is a young lady with three beautiful children, one of whom is a special child with autism. Let me tell you, they both faced this enemy with such class, dignity and unbelievable courage and in Jacque's case, with endless humor. You gals are the BEST!!!!!! My niece underwent a double mastectomy and is on the road to recovery.
I also want to take this opportunity to wish ELISE, who was recently diagnosed, the very best. We are all with you and will celebrate your recovery.
Now on to my card! I really went out on a limb with the dp....not sure it all fits!!
LOL...I used papers from Crafty Secrets, Best Creations and Dove. Lace is from my stash and the ribbon is from Raspberry Ribbons. The lovely corners are from Kort&Godt. I love this image, but was reluctant to use her because coloring this cutie was a bit of a challenge.
Thank you so very much for visiting and leaving a comment. I appreciate you all so much! Hugs, Christina

Good morning everyone!! Today is our Inventory Challenge #2 using at least three different designer papers. I'm using scraps from Webster's Pages, Graphic 45 and Scrap Your Trip. The cherry charm is from Hobbyhouse and the gorgeous flower was part of my birthday gift from my sweet, lovely friend, Claudia. Thanks Hon!!! This adorable Cherry Tilda is available at Diana's Magnolia-licious store, as well as the cherry border and tag dies.
Please swing on over to Danielle and Charlene to see what they have created for this challenge. This challenge will run until next summer. If anyone else is brave enough to join, let us know. Let me reiterate, the purpose of this challenge is to use up our inventory and not buy anything new until next summer. This does NOT include Maggies, copics or tape. After all, we cannot create without these items!
Also, you may use other stamps for this challenge. We are not limiting this to Magnolias.
Thank you so much for visiting. I appreciate each and every one of you!

Haenglar for Friday Sketchers Challenge

Good morning everyone...hope your day will be wonderful! I finished this Haenglar card yesterday for Friday Sketchers #124 following a fabulous sketch by the very talented Aud. Her work is outstanding.
The papers I used are last year's BG Indian Summer collection. The metal embossed heart is from MM and the flowers are by Prima. The image, of course, was colored with copics.
Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. I appreciate each and every comment.
Hugs, Christina

Apple Tilda for Just Magnolia challenge

Good morning everyone....a very happy middle of the week! I love this time of year, the weather has been wonderful. I am definitely wishing for a very long fall!!!!
I made this card for the JUST MAGNOLIA Week 77 challenge. The wonderful sketch we are following was created by the very talented Dawny. I used the beautiful fall papers from Best Creations which I purchased a couple of years ago. This adorable Tilda is available for purchase right now at Diana's Magnolia-licious store, as well as the lace border die I used.
I colored the image with copics. At first, I colored her in gold hues, but I needed more of a contrast, so I decided on red! The beautiful flowers were a gift from a dear friend. Thank you so much! The leaves are from Prima.
Thank you so much for visiting. Have a wonderful day...huggggs!!!
