Best Wishes!

Good morning...wishing you all a fabulous Saturday! I needed a quick card and this is what I came up with. Since it is a criss-cross card, I needed a sitting Tilda and this cutie is from the Bon Voyage Collection. She is colored with copics.

Wishing you all a happy and safe July 4th holiday! Thank you for visiting....I always appreciate your comments. Big Hugs, Christina

Edwin and Tilda Invite you to their Party

A big hello to all the lovely crafters out there! I had the misfortune of being without the Internet and phone service all day today!!! Communication is such a vital part of our lives today, being without it for a whole day is incredibly stressful. It turns out that the town placed a new street sign on the edge of the road and neglected to call the digger's hotline!!!!

I did have time to work on a card for Tilda's Town featuring Edwin. This particular Edwin is from the 2008 Party/Vacation collection and the papers are from My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist" collection. The inside of the card features Tilda with BQ and the lanterns are also from the 2008 Party Collection. All images are colored with copics.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I appreciate your taking time out from your busy day to visit. Love and hugs, Christina

Tilda of Sweden

Good morning one and all! Today, I would like to show you the lovely Tilda of Sweden from the Summer Memories 2012 Collection. I am not at all happy with my coloring, but, living in rural Wisconsin, I just don't have the opportunity to take a Copic Certification class! I so admire all the talent out there and I wish I just had l/10th of it!!!! As many of you know, I take care of my 93 year old mother who is getting very frail and cannot be alone. We also had company from Germany.....it was a fun time for all.

I thought the windmill would make a nice background for this lovely Tilda. She is colored with copics and showcased on papers from Webster's pages. The fence, of course, is also a Magnolia die.

Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I appreciate your support. Wishing you all a fabulous weekend. Hugs, Christina

June Christmas Cards for Hjertebodens Jule Blogg

Good afternoon everyone....wishing you all a fabulous weekend! Today, I'd like to share with you my June entries for Hjertebodens Jule Blogg. This month, we are required to submit at least one card in "vintage" style. This adorable Tilda is from the 2010 Christmas collection and is featured on papers from BG's Nordic Collection. My other card features Gingerbread Tilda, also from the 2010 Christmas Collection. She is featured on Pion Design papers. My final card is all vintage, featuring my favorite Pion papers. I inserted a small picture in a SU frame and attached it to the tag. I have been trying to post for several days, but I have been unable to navigate my blog with Firefox and I had to switch to a different browser. Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your support is truly appreciated. Hugs, Christina

Miss Moo Moo Takes Center Stage

Good afternoon to all my lovely blogging friends! I had a little time for crafting today.....in all honesty, I just took the time!!!!! If I waited until I have time, I would not be crafting!

Don't you just love that sweet Magnolia image??? I wanted to give that sweet bovine center stage, using very little embellishment. Papers are from Magnolia, as well as the butterfly die. The coloring is all done with copics.

Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I am so grateful for your supportive comments.....you are AWESOME!!! BIG HUGZ, Christina

Liberty Tilda

Good afternoon everyone...hope you are having a lovely day! I received my special stamps in the mail yesterday, so, of course, I had to make a card! I'd like to enter this card in JUST MAGNOLIA AND HAENGLAR & STAENGLAR CHALLENGE BLOG where "anything goes" this week. I am also entering it in TILDA's TOWN challenge No.3 requiring Tilda with an accessory stamp. Well, I used more than one Magnolia accessory stamp, so I hope that does not disqualify me.

The papers are from my stash.....I believe they are a T. Holtz design. I am featuring Liberty Tilda on a Stampscapes base, which actually is the base for a lighthouse. I applied white acrylic paint to simulate waves splashing against the stone. I used a MS border punch to frame the card.

Thank you so much for your continued visits to my blog. I appreciate your comments and thank you for your time. Hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #84

Good morning and a very happy Friday! Today's theme for our Inventory Challenge is to create a scene with the masking technique. I decided to feature the lovely Tilda Catching Stars from the Princes and Princesses collection. I masked Tilda and placed the castle from Great Impressions behind her and also the Crooked Path from Stampscapes. Tilda is colored with copics and I traced the castle with a silver spica pen for the glitter effect. The DP is from Magnolia. Now I would love to invite you to visit the rest of my teammates and view their amazing works of art: CATHY-LYNN, RENE, SYLVIA, NADINE, KATHY and ELLE. Danielle, sadly, will not be joining us this week. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. You have been incredibly supportive and I truly appreciate it. Love you all, Christina
