Edwin and Tilda Invite you to their Party


A big hello to all the lovely crafters out there! I had the misfortune of being without the Internet and phone service all day today!!! Communication is such a vital part of our lives today, being without it for a whole day is incredibly stressful. It turns out that the town placed a new street sign on the edge of the road and neglected to call the digger's hotline!!!!

I did have time to work on a card for Tilda's Town featuring Edwin. This particular Edwin is from the 2008 Party/Vacation collection and the papers are from My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist" collection. The inside of the card features Tilda with BQ and the lanterns are also from the 2008 Party Collection. All images are colored with copics.

    Christina, this card rocks!!! Your two chosen images of Edwin and Tilda are perfect for the bbq party. Love those chinese lanterns--perfect also for the scene. Beautiful colouring and gorgeous doily. Terrific job on the card. I love it!

    Hi Christina, Your card is so adorable!! I love how you have Edwin on the front playing a little tune and then when you open up the card, there's Tilda with a double decker hamburger! :-) You have colored everything so wonderfully.     Great card! I don't think I've ever seen this Edwin but he is just adorable (I guess I'm going to have to go back over old stamps now!) And I understand about "having no contact with the world" we have become dependent on technology, haven't we..
