Good morning to all my lovely blogging friends. I am continuing my mixed media journey and I am sharing my second page of the journal with you. If you look close (Please don't!), you will see some smearing when I applied the medium gel....don't know why. I applied the heat gun and I used StazOn ink! Lots of color again. When I see wildflowers blowing in the breeze, it is like a symphony, hence the addition of the musical instrument. Would love to know what you think.

Wishing you all a bautiful Easter...........I have been very busy baking all week and I am looking forward to seeing my family. Thank you so very much for taking the time to visit my blog. Big Hugs, Christina

Good evening everyone........hope your day was wonderful and that you are now taking time to relax and perhaps visiting blogs. Let me tell you, I'm really loving this mixed media stuff! Don't really know what I'm doing yet, but a very sweet friend sent me a wonderful journal and this is my very first entry! Sooooo, thank you my sweet friend for your thoughtful and generous gift. This is way out of my comfort zone, but I like the challenge............would love to know what you think! Hugs, Christina

Magnolia Easter and Saturated Canary birthday card

Good afternoon everyone.....it's been a very long time since my last posting! I'd like to share a Easter card I made for my mother. I recently had to place my mother in a nursing home...she lived with me for almost 16 years. Intellectually, I know it was time because she is currently in a wheelchair because walking has become too difficult for her. I would never be able to care for her and go to work or even sleep! She requires around the clock care now. Soooo, knowing all this, why do I still harbor guilt feelings??? It just feels strange at home, but I know, in time, I will adjust.

I made this Saturated Canary birthday card for my niece, a high school science teacher. She is also a breast cancer survivor....a very brave girl indeed. I'm very proud of her.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for your concern. It means so much to me. Love you all, Christina
