Showcasing Edwin in Miami
Good afternoon everyone! I had a little "me" time today, so I decided to create a card with the much neglected Edwin. I love this new image entitled "Edwin in Miami"....soooo cute! I colored him with copics and showcased him on the lovely papers from Prima Marketing's Fairy Flora Collection.
The flower is from Prima and the charm is from my stash. I also utilized a couple of my Stampscapes stamps.
Thank you for visiting my humble blog and leaving a comment. It is always appreciated. Love and hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #79
Good morning to all my awesome blogging friends! Wishing you all a fabulous Friday! Danielle and I, along with the rest of our talented team, invite you to our Inventory Challenge. This week's theme is "sewing on the cards".....be it real or faux. Today, I am featuring Tilda Unanchor from the new "Summer Memories Collection 2012." The papers are all from last year's Maya Design. All the elements on my card are from my stash. Tilda is colored with copics.
The inside of the card features Offshore Tilda and I stamped one of the mini Tildas that came with the kit on the Magnolia tag. A Stampscapes lighthouse is featured next to the sentiment.
Now, I would love to invite you to visit my talented teammates and view their gorgeous creations: DANIELLE, CATHY-LYNN, RENE, SYLVIA, NADINE, KATHY and ELLE.
Thank you so much for all of your support. You are GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate all of you so much! Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Cooling Off!
Good afternoon to all my lovely blogging friends....wishing you all a fabulous Sunday! Gosh, I just love this cute Tilda from the current spring kit...I guess she is called "paddling Tilda". I colored this cutie patootie with copics and showcased her on papers from Prima's "Meadow Lark" collection.
My inspiration for this masked scene was the gorgeous card by the ueber-talented Chris from Sketching Stamper. She does a phenomenal job "doodling", something I can't master, so I found this old Sutter stamp and I thought that would be perfect.
I am entering this card in the Just Magnolia and Hanglar&Stanglar Challenge Blog, Week #53 "Soft Spring Shades". I am also entering it in Totally Tilda Challenge #45 "Stitching".
Thank you soooo much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your comments mean the world to me and are very much appreciated.
Big Hugs, Christina

April Entries for Hjertebodens
Hello to all my lovely blogging buddies....hope you are having a fabulous Monday! Today, I'd like to share my April entries for Hjertebodens Yule Blog. The requirement this month was that one of the cards had to be a tea light card. Of course, I used the lovely Tilda with a bouquet of roses from the 2009 Christmas Collection and I featured her on Pion Design papers.
For the other card, I used a lovely image from Saturated Canary and showcased her on BG's Nordic Holiday collection. Flower is from Prima. She is colored with copics.
I also made a Christmas tag using the lovely Tilda Hiding Gift from the Sweet Christmas Dreams 2011 collection. The lovely papers are from Best Creations.
Thank you for visiting my humble blog. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking a few minutes out of your busy day and leaving a comment. It makes me very happy. Hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #77
Good morning and a very happy Friday to everyone! I can't believe how fast the weeks fly by and it is once again time for another Inventory Challenge.
Danielle and I, along with our talented teammates, invite you to this week's challenge which requires us to use an old, forgotten stamp in our collection. That is easy for me since I have lots of forgotten stamps. I think Magnolia comes out way too fast with their new collections....barely giving us time to use the stamps from our current collection!!!!!
Tilda with broom is from the Spring/Summer 2008 collection. Tilda's house is also from 2007 or 2008...not sure! My DP is from BG's Curio Collection and the flowers are from Prima and Magnolia. I used a MS heart punch and all the lace is from my stash. I did not have time to finish the inside of the card.....a case of life interfering with crafting...hahahaha!
Now I would love to invite you to visit my friends and teammates and view their amazing works of art: DANIELLE, CATHY-LYNN, RENE, NADINE, SYLVIA, KATHY, ELLE.
We are thrilled that Elle is joining our team. Welcome Elle!!!!!
Thank you so much for visiting and leaving a comment. I appreciate it so much! Hugs, Christina

Happy Easter Monday
Wishing everyone a very happy Easter Monday....hoping you had a fabulous Easter Sunday! Whewwwwwwww, I've had a very hectic week. We had family visiting from North Germany and we had a so much fun with them. It was so sad to see them leave this morning!!!
The weather was fabulous and we would often sit around the fire and enjoy many hours of interesting conversation.
I don't have a card to show you, but I would like to share with you some of the desserts I made for Easter. One of the goodies I made is a Black Forest Cherry Torte and also a Mandarin Torte.
Thank you for visiting and I hope to get busy in my craft room soon.............after I finish cleaning and laundry....LOL!!!!!

Good morning and a very happy Friday to everyone! OMG............this challenge totally took me out of my comfort zone! The challenge this week requires us to create our own DP using different mediums and different techniques. Well, let me tell you, I am LOST without my DP! Had no concept of what I could do. Then........I remembered my Ranger alcohol inks....they came to the rescue! Whewwwwww!!!!! I thought I might have to skip this challenge.
Well, after some dibbling and dabbling, this is what I came up with. I surrounded poor Edwin with butterflies, but he doesn't seem to mind.....at least it isn't flowers! This cute Edwin is from the Butterflies Dreams Collection. I colored Edwin and the bench with copics. I used alcohol inks to create the background DP and the tag, as well as the Tim Holtz row of houses die. I also did some dry embossing on the DP.
Now I would love to invite to to visit my other friends and teammates and view their amazing creations.

Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. I've had company from Germany and have not been able to visit many blogs, but, hopefully, I will have a chance to catch up next week. Big Hugs, Christina
