Inventory Challenge #36

Good morning everyone....hope you are all having a fabulous day! The sun is shining in Wisconsin today, if only for a day!!! Danielle and I welcome you to our weekly challenge. This week the theme is summer fun...an activity I love to do!! This theme presented a challenge for me. I was unsure of how to portray my favorite summer activity....hiking in the woods/wilderness! In desperation, I decided to combine my Stampscapes with Tilda carrying a walking stick from the Pet/Animal collection. I had to include the dog because I never walk without my Buddy! In all honesty, I did not think I could pull it off....these stamps are not a good match!
My favorite destination is the awesome Superior hiking trails in Northern Minnesota. I can't manage the challenging trails any more, but I still enjoy the easier trails.
Now I would love to invite you to visit my wonderful friends and teammates DANIELLE, RENE AND CATHY-LYNN and view their wonderful works of art.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. We all lead such busy lives and I truly appreciate that you took a few minutes out of your day to visit. Hugs!

Next week the theme will be "Adorable Bugs".

  3. Good Morning Christina, The first word that came to me when I saw your card is AWESOME. Just noticed I am 3rd in line to use it! Defintely, the stampscape as background is a good choice, both styles blend very well in this charming scene. I love the fact that you are using 2 different techniques together to create something very unique. Miss Tilda is very pretty and represents "hicking" perfectly, along with Buddy! How precious the company of our fur friends is. MAGNIFIQUE, you rocked this challenge! Have a nice day. Hugs.

  17. Oh my gosh, Christina, this is absolutely breathtaking! When I opened the link, my jaw just dropped. It must have taken you days to do this let alone color it. You should be so proud of yourself. I just love it! The sunset/sunrise is amazing! The addition of the twine lace is so clever as it makes for what looks like a fence. You set the bar very high on this card, my friend!
