LaBlanche vintage
Good morning to all my wonderful blogging friends.....all the professional ladies and all the domestic goddesses out there! I hope it's as beautiful in your corner of the world as it is here.
My dear friend, Danielle, introduced me to some fabulous new stamps..."LaBlanche" from Germany. They are silicone and come with their very own special brand of paper. Very reasonably priced as well!
Of course, I immediately fell in love with the images of the composers, since I love classical music. When I was 12 or 13 years old, I first heard Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" and "Fuer Elise" performed by Van Clyborn and also Mozart's beautiful "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" and I was totally enamored with this magical music. I proceeded to read the historical biographies of all the great composers...such sad lives! The only one I recall as having an idyllic life was Felix Mendelssohn.
The beauty of these stamps is that you don't even have to color them. If you're interested in seeing a You Tube video, you can find it HERE.
I did a little coloring on the vintage boy and I sprayed the entire image with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist for the aged look. The entire image of the composer was covered with crystal lacquer.
Thank you for your visit....your comments are always appreciated!

Hey Christina - what beautiful cards. My daughter only played classical music on the piano and oh how I loved listening to her play. My husband listens to classical music all the time and I have come to appreciate it. Your cards are really a treat for sore eyes!

Ohhhhh Mozart!!! I love paper with musical notes. Love the aged look of the paper. It really looks like an old card that some girl received from her lover many, many years ago.
ReplyDeleteThe boy looks so sad, maybe he stepped on one of the thorns of the Himbeerbusch oder sind es Brombeeren. The velvet flower really fits well, it somehow seems to fit the berries.
Zwei ausgezeichnetete vintage Karten.
