Inventory Challenge #62

Good morning everyone....OMG, I can't believe it's only 8 days until Christmas!!
Danielle and I and all of our fabulous teammates invite you to our Inventory Challenge. This week the theme is "no lines coloring". I am totally NOT HAPPY with this card and I'm not sure at this point that I will be trying this technique again!
I used one of the older Tildas and colored her with copics. The papers are from Inkido and designed by the fabulous Kristine Moldenhauer Biseth. The ribbon is from Walmart and the flower from Prima. The corner snowflake is from Memory Box and the trees from Marianne. The inside of the card features the new MS Skyland punch and the Memory Box pine.
Now ,I would love to invite you to visit my teammates and see their fabulous creations:
DANIELLE
RENE
CATHY-LYNN
KATHY
NADINE

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Wishing you all a productive pre-Christmas week!!! Much love, Christina

  1. Christina, I just LOVE those older images...they are just so cute and unique. I would never try this technique because I can't stay in the lines when they are printed so dark!!! lol...But you have done a great job with the technique...the soft coloring of Tilda is quite pretty!! Of course the inside of your card is just as lovely...the details you have used to showcase this little cutie are just wonderful!! Hope you have a great weekend, sweetie...Big hugs...Jacque

  2. OMG!!!!!!!!! Christina, you have done a MAGNIFICIENT job, my friend. This technique is not my favourite either, but you have to admit the result you got is WONDERFUL, The softness of the coloring and those beautiful pastel colors works perfectly together. All the accessories contribute to creating a soft harmony on your card front. I love the frosty stamens under the flower, that gives me an idea! Matting the white pine three with green brings such a lovely note. the inside is also MAGNIFIQUE as we say in French. lovely details. Well my friend, you rocked that challenge... I hate to say this, but sometimes going out of ones comfort zone makes us create pure beauty, such as what I have under my eyes this morning. Have a wonderful day my friend. Hugs.

  3. What in the world is it that you do not like!?! Christina, I love the way you have colored this image. The method gives the image an other worldly appearance - I can't explain it but it looks almost surreal if that makes sense. I love it! The colors are gorgeous. The inside is beautiful and I love those dies that you have used. Merry Christmas dear friend and I will see you again soon!!!!!
