Bildmalarna Valentine

Good morning to all my lovely friends! Have you noticed that the Bildmalarnas, like the Magnolias, are getting cuter and cuter all the time?????? I think the new collections are just gorgeous! I just purchased some of the Christmas stamps and also some of the Valentine stamps....looooove 'em!

This lovely image is called the "Shooter" and I colored her with copics and showcased her on Maja Design Papers. The lace and trim are from my stash. The inside of the card is very simple. On the jotting panel, I stamped a heart from the current Magnolia Valentine collection.

I'd like to show you another card I made with a LaBlanche stamp I received from a dear friend. I think it is difficult to focus on the image because of all the foliage surrounding and obscuring a bit of the young man's face. I call it "Young Love"......it is such a sweet image! I tried stamping it with vintage ink and not coloring it at all, but I did not like that result. I'd really love to know what you think??????

Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. I so appreciate your support and encouragement. Much love to all of you. Hugs, Christina

  21. Both of the cards are outstanding. I love Bildmalarna images. They are so cute. The lace you used on that card is gorgeous. Your coloring looks great too and the design is wonderful (love the heart).
The joke is on me - it took me forever to understand the image -- they are kissing!!!! In the bushes no less!! Is that lace running across the bottom - I love that border.
