A Meeting of Two Crafting Friends

I know my Facebook friends have already seen these pictures, but I wanted to post this especially for my friend, Sandy, who is not on Facebook. I had the opportunity to personally meet my talented blogging friend, Kelly Neis, this past weekend. It was such a pleasure to meet this beautiful lady and her wonderful family. We had a fun day shopping at a crafting store in St. Cloud and then we went out to lunch at a Mexican restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. The highlight was seeing her beautiful craft room. I think she needs to come to my house and help me organize mine!!! How about it, Kelly????? I have to show you the beautiful tag and the most special bezel pins she fashioned for me, one featuring Buddy and the other featuring my husband on the swing he recently built. Thank you so much, Kelly!

We decided to stay an extra day so we could see the hunting land and cozy cabin purchased recently by my daughter and son-in-law. It's a lovely retreat for them and a huge playground for the dogs.

My son's birthday is coming up, so I wanted to fashion a card around the supersized chocolate bar I purchased at a Lindt party.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Your comments always make me happy. Love and hugs, Christina

  1. Where do I start - first by saying this is the picture of you that should go on your blog. Christina, you are gorgeous and have the most beautiful smile. Your daughter is just as cute as can be. I dare say you will visit her lovely cabin again. Great place for Buddy to recoup from his bad food experience! My oh my, I have never seen a dog with blond hair!! I adore your candy bar card -- I think those cards are your trade mark.
Kelly's tag is gorgeous as well as the pins she made for you. I can tell you had a wonderful time. I am pea green with envy. Oh wait, maybe that is the soup I ate for lunch.
    With much love - Sandy
