Rose Garden Tilda
Hello to all my lovely blogging friends! I managed to make a card featuring the lovely Rose Garden Tilda, from the current Summer Memories Collection. Working five days a week does not leave me much time for crafting and when I spend time in the craft room, I feel guilty because my elderly mother feels ignored. She is very depressed lately and refuses to see a doctor. She does not have much mobility and I can certainly understand that this is a very difficult situation for her!
Back to my card......Tilda is colored with copics and featured on my favorite papers, Maja Design Summer Vintage collection. The gorgeous lace was a gift from my dear friend, Danielle. The flowers are from my stash. Thank you for your continued visits and support....you make it all worthwhile. Thank you so much.
Hugs, Christina

Magic, and b eautiful are the words that come to mind when I look at your most lovey card. I love all about it, the colors the beautiful diecuts, the awesome bouquet, and that precious lace. EVerything is just in harmony. Crissy, please don't feel guilty, you need your time off this is a necessity, an absolute necessity. you need to give to others, but also to give toyourself. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteOh Miss Christina! What a gorgeous card!! That lace looks like it came out of someone's Victorian closet. Tilda is gorgeous as is your beautiful card. These papers are divine. Drool, drool! I am sorry to hear your mother is on the depressed side. You are so good to take care of her and I know you have to worry. If I am right - I think she is in her 90's? I went to Hendersonville today and took my Mother out to lunch and a little shopping. We both had a good time. My Mom is 87 and is losing her sight. Well I really came here to see what you are up to and I see it is a delicious card. Good for you!

HI Sweet Christina ...
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your Mom, I do hope she will feel better. And as for you feeling guilty about spending time crafting, I don't think you should feel that way at all. I can understand why you would feel bad, but you do so much throughout each day .. time alone in crafting helps to unwind and be "away" from the "real" world. This is a hobby for you to enjoy, it's something that is good for your soul. :)
As for your card, well what can I say?!! GORRRRGEOUS! Love the sweet image and the fabulous colouring of her! The paper is so dainty and that lace is just wowwwwww lovely!!! Absolutely STUNNING my dear!!!
Wishing you a beautiful day ...
Much Love,
Elise
