The Bride Wore RED
Good morning to all my friends! My daughter will be getting married next weekend and my mother commissioned me to make a card for her. Soooooo......I decided to make a card with a bride in RED because that is the dress my daughter has chosen for herself. She never was a traditionalist!!!
The bridal pair is by Pysselpassion. I used the MS double loop punch and the flowers are from Michael's and Prima. I used a white souffle pen on the flowers and the image was colored with copics.
Thanks for visiting! Wishing you a wonderful holiday with your family.

A Hanglar Hello
Good afternoon everyone ......hope you are having a wonderful holiday weekend. I've been viewing some wonderful cards with the new Magnolia wedding collection. Can't wait to see the whole collection. The images I have seen thus far are all stunning.
I made this card for Friday Sketchers #104 using a sketch provided by the lovely and very talented Tanja. What a wonderful sketch to work with!
I used my new BG Cappella papers with this lovely hanglar girl. I propped her up on my Nesties background with flowers I received as a gift. The ribbon is from Raspberry Ribbons. Pearls are from Michael's. The image, of course, is colored with copics.
Thanks for visiting and wishing all my US friends a happy Memorial Day. Please take time to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom. Many hugs, Christina

Tilda and Mimosa.....best friends!
Good morning everyone...wishing you a wonderful day! I got up extra early this morning in order to finish this card. It is the adorable Mimosa from Bildmalerna and, of course, the lovely Magnolia Tilda with flower basket. The papers are Webster's Pages and flowers are Petaloo flora doodles. I used a MS punch and MS pearls. I made this card for Sketch Saturday.
Thanks for visiting and I appreciate any and all comments. Hugs, christina
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful ladies at MMSC for selecting my card as one of the finalists for the prestigious "Priscilla Award". I am humbled and so grateful. It is such an honor. Anyone can cast a vote for one of the chosen cards, so I urge you to go on over there and cast your vote for one of the cards. Here is the link:

Edwin in Concert
Hello and happy Wednesday! I didn't think I would ever get this card done....it has been an exceedingly hectic day! I hope your day is going better.
I made this card for MMSC55. I recently made a card with Tilda in concert and I decided that Edwin needed equal time. Hope you like my effort!
The papers I used were called glitter stack.....I think it was DCWV, but I am not certain.
I used my Nellie Snellen flower punches for the flowers on the bottom of the card.
Thank you for your visit. Hugs, Christina

Mini Tilda and Mimosa for Cute Card Thursday
Hi and happy Sunday! I hope you are having a relaxing day. I just finished this card for Cute Card Thursday with a sketch provided by Caz. Thank you for such a fabulous sketch!
As you can see, I did a little masking here in order to place Mimosa and the lone flower in front of the stone wall. I decided to seat mini Tilda on the wall.
The papers are from Crafty Secrets and the green flower with the pearl blossom was a gift from my sweet friend Claudia. Thanks Hon! The interlocking hearts were purchased at Hobby House. The ribbon is from Raspberry Ribbons.
Hope you like it and thank you so much for visiting. Hugs, Christina

Tilda in Concert
Good afternoon everyone! I just finished a card using Tilda with violin, one of my favorite images. Wanted to give this girl a vintage look, so I did quite a bit of distressing. I tried coloring Tilda with distress inks, but it was a total failure......sigh! Went back to copics!
I used papers from Crafty Secrets and flowers from Michael's. I used gold stickles on the distressed edges. Hope you like it! Hugs, Christina

Got a Yo-Yo?
Good morning everyone! Well, it's time again for a MMS Challenge. This sketch is looking for lots of buttons and I think I met that criterion . All buttons are from Crafty Feelings.
The papers are from the Tim Holtz Retro Grunge collection. I used the Nellie Snellen flower punches and I applied Crystal Effects to shoes and yo-yo. I also applied Stampendous stickers for the buttons. The image, of course, is Hanglar and this adorable boy is colored with copics.
Wishing you all a wonderful day. Thanks for visiting. Hugs!

Going to Town
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood......it is so uplifting when everything is green again and the sun is shining with the promise of a warm, sunny day.
OMG, by now I'm certain that you have all seen a glimpse of the new Magnolia wedding couple. It is definitely a "must have"!!!!! Sigh!
I made this card for Friday Sketchers#102 with a sketch provided by the lovely and talented Tanja. Absolutely love this sketch! I used BG Porcelain papers. You can also see that I used two MS punches and the lovely pink ribbon and flower were a gift from sweet Jacque. Thanks hun! The image, of course, is Hanglar. Doesn't she look like she is ready to go to town, perhaps for tea and blueberry scones (my favorite)??? This cute image is colored with copics.

Romantic Edwin
Good afternoon and a very happy Sunday and Mother's Day! I made time for a little crafting today and I managed a card that meets two challenges: Sketch Saturday (which provided the sketch) and Cute Card Thursday which required a "boy" card.
I used Tim Holtz Retro Grunge papers and MS leaf punch. The wooden brad is by Chatterbox and the metal dots are from Walmart. Edwin is colored with copics. The cute buttons were a gift from my dear friend Claudia. Vielen Dank!!!
My most heartfelt gratitude to you for visiting and leaving a comment. Hugs!

Fairy Dust Tilda
Good morning and I hope you are all having a relaxing, but creative, weekend. I made this card yesterday but wasn't sure if it was post worthy, but my daughter liked it.......sooooo....here it is! I made this card for Friday Sketchers using a sketch by the extraordinarily talented Claudia. I used Magnolia papers, MS pearls and I stamped and colored the blossom twice, cut it out and used dimensionals. The gorgeous butterflies were a gift from my lovely friend. Thanks Sweetie!!!
Yesterday, I attended a funeral for a family member. My niece's father in law died unexpectedly and I'd like to take this opportunity to tell her husband what an outstanding and touching eulogy he delivered. Outstanding job Grant.....your father would have been proud!!!
